Broker and owner Travis John Turner grew up showing cattle and receiving awards such as Champion Steer Arizona State Fair 2001, Champion Steer State Fair of Texas 2001, and Champion Steer at Star of Texas 2006. These were only some of his highlights within his agricultural career.
His roots in real estate derive from a strong lineage of developers who specialized in projects in the Frisco and North DFW metroplex such as Lakeside on Preston Road. His connections in real estate and his work ethic has been instilled by generations of real estate investors and developers within his family as well as his mentors. You could truly say real estate runs in his blood.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from Tarleton State University, Travis worked briefly as a banker in Waco, TX to obtain knowledge regarding lending and fiscal markets which are directly applicable to real estate markets. Travis has also always been an active stock market trader managing a personal portfolio since the age of 8 which he feels correlates the overall market knowledge of land, commercial and business.
Travis has received awards and record sales during his career and has helped many wonderful clients with many strategic moves of both purchases and sales of land, income producing commercial, and 1031 exchanges. In 2019 Travis SOLD 2 parcels in the Top 100 sales in the state according to the Lands of Texas Magazine! Travis has also been featured in articles regarding land development in the Dallas Morning News. He was the listing agent on a 60+million dollar development in Frisco, TX which he finalized after obtaining approval from city council in the winter of 2018. Prior to becoming a broker and founding Turn Key Commercial Properties, Travis spent several years as a sales agent with RE/MAX and obtained prestigious awards including but not limited to Top Producing Individual, Gold Club, 100% Club, Top Commision earned individual, Platinum Club and Rookie of the Year Awards and Top Listing agent multiple times between 2015-2018.
He is the master of the cliche “tricky” deal because he works hard at problem solving and managing his clients and locating replacement real estate within a narrow timeframe to avoid potential tax ramifications. His expertise is in selling Commercial Businesses, RV Parks, Hotels as well as Farm & Ranch properties and Single Family Land Development, and both NN and NNN but has also brokered storage units, multifamily and shopping centers. As mentioned above, Travis is extremely well versed in 1031 tax deferred exchanges and spends a great deal of time helping his clients reinvest once they have moved on from one business and into another. Travis is a multi-million dollar producer year over year and goes to any length given the opportunity to obtain results for his clients.
